Okay then...*ahem*

I get into a dress, trying not to overdress for the picnic. I decide the pale pink dress will do as I dig through the jewelry box crammed full of necklaces, trying to find the one that's just right. I jump as the door bell rings and practically run down the stairs in my high heels. I grab the door and pull it open. Finally, my date was there.

I was already waiting outside, dressed in blue shorts and shirt, vaguely looking to the moon while he waited. And finally, I hear the door opening. My heart actually skips a beat when I lay my eyes in the pink-dressed princess that emerged from the now opened door and headed towards me. Feeling the urge of bowing down to such beauty, I just smile at her and hold the basket more tightly with my left hand.
"Hey...are you sure you're going to a picnic? You're even more well-dressed than I thought you would be..."
"I'm actually am feeling now pretty bad for showing up like I did..."
I sigh in dissapointment...with myself.

I blush as I try to think straight. For some reason I had the urge to finger-comb my hair...Again.
"No! You're perfect," I squeak. I wondered if it was normal to feel so self-conscious over a picnic. I grab my basket that was placed on top of the chair by the door.
"Sorry. I think I might be overdressed..." I blush even deeper.

"I don't mind the way you are now...you're quite beautiful..." I add, with a little blush too, before getting to the real point. "So, let's go now...the night's waiting."
I turn around to start walking, but first I offer my hand to Lida, intenting for we to walk hand-to-hand.

I grab the outstretched hand eagerly as I walk with my date. I realize that the weather was perfect. It wasn't stiflingly hot or freezing cold. It was just a comfortable temperature on a non-windy night. I look up at the full moon that seemed so close I wouldn't even need a telescope to make out the craters and the millions of stars that scattered throughout the sky. It was a breath-taking sight.

I notice how my pink-dressing princess was looking to the moon, and immediately raise my head a little to gaze at it too. The moon was truly beautiful today. I used to look at the moon every night, and now it was just breath-taking.
"Hah...I guess Lady Luck is on our side." I make the first comment that crosses my head, smiling at her again. "Everything's perfect...it's just incredible."

"I know," I say gleefully. "But the most perfect thing..." I look back at Aliucon. "Is you." Then, I realize I just said that aloud. "I'm sorry! Was that corny?" I blush again.

After seriously blushing, I try to laugh a little, hiding the fact that I was thinking the exact same thing, just that I hadn't said it out loud.
And after that, I kind of find myself lost for words.
"I...don't worry, it was OK."
I take a deep breath before continuing, deciding if I would reveal it or not.
"Hum...Just so you know...I could say the same about you..."
I try to turn my face a little away, embarrased.

I giggle, trying not to show how nervous and jumpy I am.
"Aw, don't be embarrassed. I-...Thank you."

I blush a little deeper upon hearing your words, but I can hold myself together and keep walking.
Having no real idea what to say next. I focus on the path before us. We should be arriving, we were already walking on grass rather than the city's streets, and the sound of our steps was the only that broke the silence in that place. Quite strange, really, how they had gotten there so fast. I figure it must be because talking to Lida is so good, even though the words are few, but our feelings are just enough to make that moment one to remember...
I hold Lida's hand more tightly as we continue to walk.

I feel the grip on my hand become tighter and I realize I don't mind. Usually silence would be uncomfortable for me and I'd feel I'd have to fill every minute with words, but the silence was...Relaxing. I subconsciously hold Aliucon's hand slightly tighter as we walk through the grass.

"Well, this place looks so good all around...we can stop whenever you want, Lida...I wouldn't recommend waiting for me to stop...I feel like I could walk around holding your hand the whole night".
As I said that, I noticed how strong I was holding her hand, so I let go a bit of the pressure, wondering why did I press her that way in the first place.
"I cannot help but keep her close...I guess that's it..." I think to myself, as I wait Lida to reply to my words.

"I'm fine with walking some more," I say, realizing that I didn't want to stop walking either. His grip loosened and I blush for noticing something so small. The words, "I feel the same way," tumble out of my mouth before I can stop them. I blush again.

I smile upon hearing that she was still willing to walk. "Me too...", I reply, the sound of our footsteps still being the main noise of the scene. The feeling was so nice right now, we both walking around, bathed by the moonlight and the stars in the sky...

I fiercely battle the butterflies in my stomach as we walk. There was no way I could eat while the butterflies were there. I look around at the glow of fireflies and stars and the sun. Everything was beautiful and glistening. I just kind of walk without even thinking about it...

Yet a little distracted with the beautifulness of the field around us, I can somehow sense the nervousness of my dear partner. Once again, but now intentionally, I hold her hand more tightly and directly look at her, worried. "Lida...you're OK, right? You seem so nervous..."

"I'm fine," I reply, not confirming or denying that I was nervous. I have to think about what to say, so I start breathing heavier, hoping to clear my head. Finally, I turn back so I'm looking into Aliucon's eyes. "To be honest, I am a little nervous." I smile slightly before I go on. "I consider this my first date, and it is with the best person to ever exist. I guess I'm nervous about screwing this perfect night up somehow." My thoughts start to all unleash in my head, millions of different thoughts at once, and I can't stop them. My head starts to hurt and I clutch it with my free hand.

"How ever do you think you could mess this date up? I should say that you are the best person ever, Lida, there's no way you ruin something...and just talking to you feels like it's the best thing I've done since...", I stop the reply to her comment when I notice her clutching her head, wondering if she was really OK or not. I tighten my grip on her hand and stop, forcing her to stop, but not violently. Then, I move my hand over cheek and fondle it a little. "Oh, Lida...you worry too much. If I say that just being here with you already made my day, my week...would you feel calmer?".

((Note, I didn't know any words for caressness...had to look it up... x_x))

The thoughts all leave suddenly when Aliucon fondles my cheek. I smile, giddy from the pressure suddenly disappearing.
"Aw, shucks. You don't have to do that," I say, trying to sound sincere as the words pour out of my mouth and I ramble on. "I mean, I wish I was as perfect as you think I am, but I'm nowhere near that level. But if i was perfect, I wouldn't be human, would I? Every human makes mistakes. I'm just afraid my mistake won't be so minuscule that we could just brush it aside." I say the last part as if it is one word and do it in one breath. I doubt anyone could understand me at all. I clamp my mouth shut in order to stop the thoughts that were tumbling out of my mouth. "Sorry..." I mumble before clapping my mouth shut again so I wouldn't ramble.

"Riu!!!" Ema yelled as she burst into the coffee shop Riu was sitting in. "I love you! You're like the hottest guy ever!" After yelling this and causing everyone to run out of the coffee shop, Ema bought a cup of coffee and sat down next to Riu.
