...but why would a coffee shop be in a field? And if you were in the coffee shop you wouldn't see much of the field would you? Oh screw it I give up and vote for coffee shop again!))

"Hi, Marissa! So good to randomly bump into you in a place like this," I shout. "You can join us if you want." Since our conversation was being cut off anyway...

I took my order from the guy at the counter and was about to leave, when I heard someone randomly shout my name. And it seemed to be aimed in my direction, too. Thats strange...who could recognize me in a place like this?
"...Oh! Hey, Lida!" I wave to her, smiling. I then glance at the others at the table "...Ah, and Aliucon?...And Ema...."
I shrug it off, and then began to approach them.
"I'd love to, but..." I pause "...I hope I wouldn't be interrupting anything? If I was, then I'd just talk with you guys later...?"

(A good idea, that is. ^^)

Since Lida had already called Marisa to come near, I smile brightly. "What are you talking about, Mar? It's a friendly reunion! Please have a seat!" I say, trying to be nice. Well, now it HAD turn into a friendly reunion, what was supposed to be a date with Lida. Well, but of course, it would be nice to talk with my friends too.
"C'mon, don't be shy!"

"Oh, well, if thats the case...." I then give a bigger friendly smile directed towards everyone at the table, feeling more relieved.
"Sure, why not?"
I sit my cup of cappuccino down at the table and then slide into the last empty chair.

"So, where were we...?", I start, looking throughout the window and noticing how the moon declined to that side more with the passing time.
Hum...I guess we'll be staying here for a little more time, so I better forget the sleep for tonight. It'll be good, though!
"So, hum, Mar! If you don't mind me asking..." I scratch the back of my head, a little embarrased for starting the conversation that way "...it's pretty late, what were you doing over here? Do you come here often?"

"Well, apparently, this is currently rated as one of the best places in town to go to for anything coffee...personally, I had wanted to see what all the fuss was about." I slightly shrug again, taking a sip of my drink.
"And I think its actually pretty good. Definitely tops my list as some of the better I've tried..."
I glance over to the side a bit, appearing deep in thought as to what to say next.
"...How about you? Did you all have this friendly reunion planned for here?" And.... why didn't anyone bother mentioning it to me before?
I give a small smile despite my inner thoughts.

I didn't really know this place had so much prestige...
"Huh..." I shrug too, upon the end of Marisa's question. "No, actually...we didn't plan anything here... " I look throughout the window again, scratching the base of my neck for a second. How did we end up there? Well, my only intention was to restore the energy with a cup or two of coffee, after the date, that took a bit longer than I had expected it to, and totally depleted my energy. Must have been my fault I wasn't able to sleep the night before, so nervous I was with the idea of a date...
"Me and Lida just happened to pass by, and then Ema entered just after us. What a coincidence, right?" I direct my eyes to Marisa again, and smile back to her. "It's good to see you around too!"

"It sure is!" I add enthusiastically. I wasn't exactly sure how we got to the coffee place, I only knew that as we were passing by, I suggested we go in for a drink before going home. "No reunions that I'm aware of, none that were planned anyway. What are the chances that all of us would wind up here so late at night?"

"Must be destiny." I add, joking, glancing to outside of the window again.
Well, maybe not destiny, per se... I wonder...
Is it really a coincidence?
My gaze moves back to the table we were sitting. I decide to sip my mug of coffee while my thoughts still fogged my vision. Then, when I rest the mug again, my eyes meet Lida's, and I smile happily to her. Hope she enjoyed the night as much as I did...
My eyes scroll around and meet Marisa's greenish ones, watching me silently now. Tilting my head to the side a bit, I gaze back. I know you know what I'm thinking, Mar.. I look down to my mug of coffee, blushing a little. Wonder how we all ended up here...but it's all fun, right? Hehe~
Smiling again, I face Lida, again. "You're not drinking, dear.", I say, poking her arm playfully.

I giggle.
"Whoops. Hee, hee," I say stupidly. "I was so excited I forgot." I mentally scolded myself for not telling the truth, which was that I was trying to remember how we got to the coffee shop, and what had transpired before then.
"So, um...What has everyone been up to?" I ask before sipping some more hot chocolate (Since I prefer that over coffee any day. XD).
