It's different, but I don't see why you would be less of an awesome person that you are if you were previously goth or no. Hell, it must not be a bad thing. x__x

I meant it'd be ridiculous 'cause I seem so cheery or something now.
I was a down right demon back then, though.

I just heard today in English that in Nevada they improson 8-year-olds for life in jail with no parole if they murder someone. So I was thinking of writing something about a person imprisoned like that, but now all grown up and normal and everything. so he wouldn't remember his crime or be educated and be stuck in a jail cell for the rest of his life. Then maybe Phoenix Wright could come into this, but the statue of limitations has kind of run out...

Okay I wrote part of it. And somewhere between jailbreak and suicide, it turned into some sort of Ultimate Cross-Over fanfic. So there will be people from TWEWY, Layton, Hotel Dusk, AA, and possidly Trauma Center.
It's not very good...

For Allan, it was just another day. Everyone else was out living their lives, yet he was stuck in a cell. He wasn't sure why he was, until yesterday. It was just one of those things that never came up before. He talked to his parents which was always awkward, for they had nothing to say to each other. Except this time, Allan did have something to say.
"Why am I here? What did I do?"
The only response he got was "It happened when you were eight." Then his mom started crying, so he dropped it. Not a very satisfying answer.
One of the guards at the jail was an old family friend that always let Allan's parents visit him. He was a big man, with a bushy moustache. He always seemed happy and let Aiian call him Ben even though all the other guards called him Officer Gardner.
"Ben... Can I ask you something?"
"Of course, Allan m'boy! Ask away!"
"... Why am I here?"
Ben hesitated in replying, "Well it's confidential, but I guess since you're the perpertrator you should know... Hmmm, what to do..." He sighed then continued. "Yes, you should know. You have a right to." Ben then looked incredibly sad, more than possible for a jolly man like him. "There was a murder. You were accused and found guilty of it. That was eight years ago."
Allan gaped. He had only been eight years old then. How could he be found guilty? Not completely sure he wanted to know, yet sure that he needed the truth, Allan asked, "Who was the victim?"
Ben's moustache drooped. "It was your sister, Sally." He then opened up his wallet, and showed Allan a picture.
Allan easily reconized himself. He was tall and skinny, with the same black hair that was being blown around in the wind. Sally was small with short blonde hair and wearing a sweatshirt that was too big for her. She was on a swing with Allan pushing her. They were both smiling and laughing.
How could I have killed her? Allan thought.
"No one thought it was possible." Ben's sad voice broke through Allan's thought's. "But the prosecutor was Manfred von Karma. He hadn't lost a case in a long time. There were fumors of falseified evidence, but those rumors weren't enough for further investigation. The law is that an eight-year-old that commits murder gets a lifetime in jail. And here you are." Ben sighed and took the picture back and started mumbling. "Very depressing, no one thought possible, two siblings down..."
Allan slipped back into his cell so Ben wouldn't see him crying.
The next day Allan didn't know what to do. There was nothing he could do. He had killed his sister, and that was that.
When a guard was late for changing shifts, Allan took his bedsheets, tied them around his neck, looped it around a hook, and hung himself.
Allan woke up in the middle of a street with a black pin in his hand.
How did I get hiere? And what's this pin?
Here we go again. Neku thought. How many times do I have to do this for Joshua? Makes me want to go emo again. At least Shiki, Beat, and Rhyme are here too. Hey, who's that new person?
Here we go again. This is what, my 50th time? When will this end?
Joshua and Shades were talking about the current game in Joshua's place.
"It's going to be an unusual game all right." Shades commented.
"Yes, thanks to the growing number of hippies there have been less deaths." Joshua replied, "So I called in Neku, Shiki, Beat, and Rhyme to up the number a little. Their entry fees are a little unusual since if they get erased thay won't die."
"If I remember correctly, if they get erased they would go back to life without any memories of each other, correst?"
"That's right, and there's also that girl whose been playing for eight years! OVER 9000 times!!!"
"Bit lower than 9000."
"Whatever. Her entry fee is her memory. Nao and Sato are playing again, blah, blah, blah, blah... Hey it's an emo kid!"
"You already memtioned Neku."
"Not Phones, it's another emo kid. Allan's his name. He's the brother of the girl who's on her 9000 and first time!"
"Didn't he kill her?"
"Apparantly he did. Nice brother." Joshua chuckled. "Any way his entry fee is also his memory. And that's it for Players."
"This game will be entertaining."
Allan picked himself off of the ground. Where am I? The sign says 'Scramble Crossing'. Guess that would explain all the people. But how did I get here? There was a black pin with a skull on it in his hand. Cool pin. He gave it a toss.
WHAM! Voices popped up in his head. What the hell is going on! Why is everyone screaming about some 777 concert? And shoes are 50% off? I should go get some...
"Ribbit, ribbit."
"Ok, an army of frogs. Now I've seen everything. Ack! Why are they attacking me? I better run!"
Allan started running as fast as he could away from the frogs. "Help! Help! Somebody help me!"
"Beat, another Player needs help!"
"Yo, let's go Rhyme!"
Allan tripped and skidded into a building. The frogs surrounded him and started jumping on him. He ducked and hid.
"Don't wuss out now man!"
Suddenly a gangsta and a little blonde girl jumped to his rescue and cleared out all the frogs.
"Are you alright?" the girl asked.
"I'm fine." Allan replied and got up. "I'm Allan. Thanks for that."
"I'm Rhyme and this is my brother, Beat."
"Yo, no problem man. We're both Players now, we gotta help each other to make it out." Beat jutted in.
"What are you talking about? Players? I'm not playing anything!" Allan exclaimed.
"You got a Player pin, doncha? And we can talk to you and eerything." Beat said.
"Here's Shiki and Neku, they can explain." Rhyme said joyfully.
Shiki and I started running towards Hachiko when we heard all the shouting. There we found some new, goth kid with dark hair, black shirt, and jeans. Beat and Rhyme were also there.
"Hello Beat, Rhyme. What's going on?" Shiki asked. I never talk much, so she does it for me.
"Yo Shiki! Just saved some new guy. He needs explainin' on wha's goin' on." Beat said.
I guess he lost his memory...
"Well basically we're dead and have to survive seven days in order to come back to life. The Reapers try to erase us with Noise-those frogs. The Game Master gives us a mission everyday that we have to complete. Speaking of, did you guys get a mission yet?" Skiki explained.
"Whoa, wait just a second!" the new guy said, "Since when was I dead?"
"Don't you remember?" Rhyme asked. "Or was your memory your entry fee?"
The new guy thought for a moment, then looked startled, "All I remember is my name, Allan!"
"Then your memory was your entry fee. Survive for seven days, and you get it back." I finally said.
Of course, Beat said, "Listen to the emo Neku, Allan. He knows wha he's talkin' about."
"Thanks Beat."
"Anytime, anytime."
"Okay, back to business," Shiki continued. "We need to get you a partner, and the mission."
"Hey, who don't got a partner!?" Beat yelled. Then, to Allan he said, "There's always people by Hachiko."
