It's freaking amazing.
It's like... he tells about certain cases and obstacles and...
... well, it's a bit gruesome.
BUT SOOO FASCINATING.

Sounds a bit like House, are they like misteries?

No, it's like... literally written by a medical examiner... and he talks about some of the more intriguing cases he's done.
He was involved in investigating the JFK assassination... not the initial investigation, one later on... and there's a chapter devoted to that.

That is a book everyone should read before they die.... or even after they die

He writes those Women's Murder Club Mysteries... ... I don't remember what the titles are... so, basically he's a murder mystery writer.

It's a really good book.
I haven't been able to swallow Les Mis yet... but I refuse to let a book beat me... which sounds odd.
Les Mis and War and Peace... on the list of books that I refuse to let beat me.
... I might let War and Peace beat me though, there's SOO many damn characters in it... >< It gets confusing.
