Since I'm not getting to battle testing anytime soon, you guys can take your time in deciding the weapons. I'm using a gun for Ema and sword for SNK since that's what they voiced they wanted. As for the ones we can't talk with to discuss this matter, I'll choose something for them myself.

As for battling as a team... the party can consist of 4 characters, max. Most of the time, you can choose the party (or so I want to allow) or venture on alone, if you're feeling lucky. The changes can be done in... Hippietree's room, I guess (which will work like a Velvet Room, somewhat. xD)

I'm guessing if you go alone, or without a full party you'll get more experience or some kind of bonus? And I love the whole being able to pick your party members thing =D.

Why hippietree's room of all places? Just curious.

I've always prefered party change Chrono trigger style. Just press a button and there you go, change any member at anytime. Or have it acessable from the pause menu like in Chrono trigger DS. Final fantasy usually have party change on the aircrafts or something. These options might be hard to program, but whatever.

Okay now that that's out of my system I'll tell you the basic gist of Aliucon's post (which was originally right before SNK's until I messed it up) to save him the trouble.

From what I remember he said that hippietree's room was going to be the Velvet Room of sorts because of a post made by Riu saying that she was the hippie sister if we were all a family. Also the blues in the velvet room would be playing which I was very excited about.

He also said he would try and change it so that if you use fewer party members you'll gain more experience and what not.

Well shit I know he had some other stuff in the post but I don't remember what all was there. FML

He said something about HT having a jukebox with her themesongs in them. Frankly, I think the jukebox should just act as an ingame mp3 player that plays all the songs in the game so the player can just turn that on instead of having do download all songs ourselves or something. But that's just me.

...Also, I didn't get the "Fanfare" choice avaliable because it's kind of a small thing (what plays when you win a battle, and you're the main character), and if I convert it to OGG rather than MP3, it shall not be a heavy tune, but if anyone wants to suggest, I may use your suggestion instead of something I found interesting to that person. I had chosen P4's fanfare to you, Ema, but well, subject to change. Mine's Xenosaga's Battle End.

Anything but the Final fantasy farfare will do for me. I was thinking of the Earthbound one, but I think I'll go with something slighly more "epic" or victorious-like. I'll get back on that.

About the fanfare, is it something that could play for much longer if you didn't press any buttons? If so, I'm slightly leaning towards one of these, but I don't wanna make anything final incase I change my mind:

"Beat from Melty Blood" is probably my favorite theme of the game. It just feels awesome from beginning to end. Coincidence that Aoko ended up being my main... good luck choosing, NS. xD

Speaking of which, NS, I got Actress Again for the PS2. I wish there was the computer version avaliable here, I'm having to settle with this for now...

Too bad you won't be hearing the song if you play as Aoko on Arcade Mode, huh XD

You got it??? That's amazing, how is it? Apparently the computer version's out in Japan at the end of December, you could try and import it if possible. I hope it has online play

I DO hope it has online play. As for the game, while the menu and other graphical implements are looking different (smooth and nice, in my opinion), the battle graphics are pretty much the same they always were, for the characters. I saw 3 new characters, plus a playable White Len which OWNED me the first time I faced her (despite that, I think she was severely nerfed compared with the previous game).

The new characters all look pretty good, but most notably, Ryougi Shiki. I think she's borderline broken. I used her and her combos seemed to spring out of my fingers as easily as I ever thought possible. As for her playstyle, she's very much like Tohno Shiki. They wield a knife, have good high-low attack mix-up, Arc Drive is really similar. That's what I noticed for now.

For the existing characters, I guess there were some balance changes. It seems that Kohaku can now control the distance she flies when dropping a bomb from her broom, and Tohno Shiki got one new knee attack that charges by holding H (Heavy, O). For Aoko, I saw no changes, except that I can't hit 66LMH + 2H as often as I could before... difference in timing, maybe.

Never found White Len overpowered in Actress Again. Unless they changed her for Ver B, which is the one I have

Ryougi Shiki looked pretty great from the gameplay videos I saw, but she does indeed seem similar to Tohno. I'm glad they added to Tohno's moveset; although I kick ass with him, his moveset was kind of limited and plain

Soooooo I kind of spaced out and ended up doing other stuff earlier. But now I'm actually getting my music stuff together.

And I'm pretty sure I'll leave the fanfare alone. It's just too perfect.
