A Road to Somewhere from Spirited Away also definitely qualifies, but I cannot for the life of me find a recording on youtube. I highly recommend it however, as I think it's the most introspective, deep songs on the soundtrack. Try iTunes if you have time, they may have it.

That's a fairly good overview of most of the sad songs I have.
There are more, of course, but I'm busy now.

It makes me sad I took the time to compile this list and I get ignored.

I'll give these a listen the next time I feel like being depressed.

Part of Your World evokes a sense of melancholy and longing for something one cannot have. It has a bright tone for much of the song, true, showing Ariel's wonder and amazement at the artifacts of the beautiful and foreign world she's enraptured with, but both the song ends on a quiet, resigned note; Ariel realizes that she is a mermaid, and not suited for or meant for the life that she so desperately wants to lead, that no matter how much she wishes for it, she will never be able to escape her oppressive, familiar environment. (This is, of course, not taking into account her later interaction with Ursula, who offers her a chance to achieve her dreams, but as that had not happened at this point, it is irrelevant to my point)
