Never seen the BBC series, though. I do remember seeing some shit called Sherlock Holmes in the 21st centuary on TV as a child. It was stupid.

Well I mean I've heard good things about the movie, I just haven't motivated myself to see either one. I feel like I like the BBC series so much that the movie will just end up being a disappointment.
And no, trust me that wasn't it. It's a recent one. It came out in like 2009 I think.
