Theme songs' gallery 2.0! THUGMusicSlogan1

Here it is. It always existed, and it will keep on existing, no matter how much indifference or hate is shown. It's the infamous Turnabout H.U.G. Theme Song thread! Though always neglected but never entirely left out, it is the biggest joint for music in all the forum. Featuring music from any genre, size or artist, its contents are designed solely upon the crazy creator of the thread and the awesome bunch that composes the rest of the forum.

So how does this work? Simple. Each member might have some songs they really like, or that they identify with, or that are simply too amazing and needs to be shown to the world. So each member gets their space here to post any music they would like. You can choose as many themes as you like, as long as you have a name and position for them all. And the music can be of any genre, age and artist, as long as it is... well, music.

So, there are a few minor rules for this. Firstly, to easily padronize everything, the music has to be somewhere online that allows immediate viewing. YouTube is the most popular choice, but other sites may also work, as long as you're not required to "dowload" the music in order to hear it. Don't worry, I'll keep a watch for broken links every now and then. Second, we all know that the roots of this thread (and forum, by the way) was on a Phoenix Wright forum, the Court Records Forum. As such, the theme songs are often placed in a certain pattern that reminds us of those games. There are such themes for moments like investigation, pressuring moments in court, and endings. That doesn't mean you can't get creative, but most of the time, we stick to this pattern (you may have two or three themes for the same situation if you like, however). In the event you are not sure of the positions that exist, look at Riu's list of music (seriously, that guy's got most of the themes covered). Lastly, you may contact me over updating your current musics through this thread, or by PM, at your leisure.

Now, for the music:

SNK: Samurai Champloo Theme
--- ((The Samurai Champloo theme says a lot about our leader. He doesn't have many themes, and the ones he does have are never very upbeat, rendering an atmosphere of something that is completed with some hint of sadness. Interesting how that conclusion may draw oneself to think about the reality of THUG.)) ---
*Ending: Blood Trails
*Reminiscence: Won the Lawsuit! ~ Our Victory

Lida_Rose: Aegina's Theme
--- ((Lida's themes are unique, mostly piano-based, and have a serene feel to them. They all fit their given positions, and are nice to listen to when you want hear some interesting piano solos.)) ---
*Investigation: A Moment's Peace
*Reminiscence: Vernal Equinox
*Cornered: In Hot Pursuit

Aliucon: R&R Junkie
--- ((My own themes are a mixture of interesting videogame tunes, mostly befitting their positions, or trying to. It contains a nice variety of tunes, and a couple of remixes. All in all, if you like VGM, this selection is just great for you.)) ---
*Suspense: Unary Game
*Investigation: Iwatodai Station
*Testimony - Moderato: Ancient Dragon Stronghold
*Testimony - Allegro: Pitch Black Intrusion
*Testimony - Presto: Gokaku no Tatakai
*Objection: Komaki-nagakute
*Cornered: Winning the Duel
*Inform the Truth: Professor Layton's Theme
*Reminiscence ~ Calm: Requiem of the Jiang Dong River
*Reminiscence ~ Sad: To Zanarkand
*Revival: Frog's Theme
*Congratulations: Purity of your Smile
*Congratulations Everybody, Again: Memories Traced with Sorrow

hippietree12: Dream On
--- ((Hippietree's choice of musics is quite good. They are not intrumental, but for all effects, fill their roles well, except maybe for the Cornered. Also, as we are living in something of a degrading mainstream music age, the melodies of these awesome older bands are a real treat to the ears.)) ---
*Investigation: Hey Jude
*Objection: Rock You Like A Hurricane
*Cornered: All at Once

Nintendosaiyan: Shiki no Uta
---((Despite being a single song, NS' theme song is a good one, that should be renowned a bit more for its unique feel, inciting some level of sadness, but at the same time having the constant beats dragging your mood up for a fight... or maybe not a real fight, but whatever.)) ---

sten+kruka=disaster: It's So Wonderful
---((SKD's choices are mostly videogame songs, much like my own list, but it possesses a peculiarity, in the sense that it doesn't use more than one song per game, and the music still fits its roles quite well. The fact that it joins new gems, like TWEWY's It's So Wonderful, with the classics DK's Fear Factory and Chrono Trigger's Robo Theme, is something that he should be reckoned with.)) ---
*Suspense: Fear Factory
*Investigation: 8-bit Jake Marshall's Theme
*Objection: Robo's Theme
*Cornered: Battle against Saturos

Riu: Blaze
---((Riu's selection is currently the biggest on our selection, and it possesses some exceddingly well-made background music, like Strange Names and A Song of Storm and Fire. Several arrangements of The Legend of Zelda music are also noticeable, and they all kick ass too. A sordid selection that definitely deserves a listen.))---
*Suspense: 4000 Degrees Kelvin
*Investigation: The Dark World
*Objection: Strange Names
*Cornered: A Song of Storm and Fire
*Flirting: Fragrance of Dark Coffee
*Love: You are my Love
*Inform the Truth: The Elysian Box Theme
*Reminiscense: Christmastime Is Here
*Eccentricity: Song of Storms
*Detective from the Wild West: Hidden Village
*Steel Samurai: Go K.K. Rider!
*Revival: Cherish - Azu
*Congratulations: Caramelldansen
*Congratulations Everybody, Again: Still Alive

WunderbarPhalanges: Salome the Traitor
---((Wunder's themes, despite the slight worry/angst atmosphere of the main theme song and the two following themes, are pretty cool, special notice to the Castlevania songs. The mixture of them into one character may seem weird at first, but they do fit their roles, even if Mew's Theme sounds too cute for a flirting song))---
*Suspense: Impeding Conspiracy
*Investigation: Dance of Words
*Objection: Dracula's Castle
*Cornered: Festival of Servants
*Flirting: Mew's Theme

.Marisa.: On the Wind Past the Hills
---((I admit I had one too many fingers on this selection... but anyway, the themes have a vibrant happy feel, most of the time. Even the Suspense is way less darker than some others on the roster. Despite the name, Love Letters may not seem to be flirty at first instance, but keep hearing it: the feel is there.))---
*Investigation: Tetyth
*Flirting: Love Letters
*Suspense: Vitals Critical!

EmaSkye: Turnabout Sisters' Theme 2007
---((Ema's selection is quite varied. Most of the music, with the exception of the Melancholy Hill and Sweety, are instrumental. They range from videogame music, mainly Persona, to anime music, like Durarara and Gintama, and music from actual bands. All of them are quite good and examplify their given positions pretty well.))---
*Suspense: Koe no nai sakebi
*Investigation: Reasoning
*Objection: Changing Seasons
*Cornered: Pap Smear
*Inform the Truth: Dayvan Cowboy
*Reminiscence: Testu wo Tataki Nagaratemee No
*Revival: MGS3 Ending Theme
*Congratulations: Melancholy Hill
*Ending: Akogare no Hi Nichijo
*Flirting: Sweety

book of life: Defender of Justice has Come <--
---((BoL has more themes that regard feelings than themes for the court situations. While the CandyPop may draw a giggle or two from the casual listener, the selection is more solid than it looks. One Winged Angel is an absolute song by itself, and despite its conflicting nature with the rest of the selection, it is good for a Cornered. The others are also pretty good, and fit their positions extremely well: just listen and see by yourself.))---
*Cornered: One Winged Angel
*Flirting: CandyPop
*Reminiscense: Dear You
*Congratulations: Dancing in the Moonlight
*Ending: Super Special

.•°٭blinq٭°•.: Turnabout Sisters Theme (Guitar)
---((Yet another list where I had a certainly big influence. Oh well. Anyway, while the main theme evokes a simple, serene feel, as do most of the themes played with only one instrument, the suspense theme is completely opposite to it, making it one of the scariest and most complex suspense themes shown on this thread. Maybe it feels like she has a dark side? Well, the others are simple enough to fit with the main theme, though.))---
*Suspense: A Violent Encounter
*Investigation: Saint of Hope
*Objection: Fefnir
*Cornered: Love so Active

Cardo: Super Mario World Main Theme
---((Hoho. Cardo's entire selection is based on the Mario franchise, which is not really bad. Mario, being the god of all videogames, has had thousands of remastered versions of his own songs through the ages, so it comes as no surprise that the remixes shown in these themes are pretty good. That said, I'd say the Objection theme is more of a Cornered theme, but who am I to judge...?))---
*Suspense: Bowser's Star Reactor Remix
*Investigation: Mario Underground Remix
*Objection:Mario Minor

Dark_Kokiri: Zelda's Overworld (Classic Theme)
---((Dark_Kokiri has but one theme, but sweet Lord, it's the absolute theme. While there are certainly other masterpieces in VGM history, this is the one of the oldest recordings of perfection, and that makes it more than able to stand alone as a theme.))---

Crooked: Special

For now, that is the list. As I said, any changes/updates can be requested on this thread or via PM. I don't know why I'm talking so seriously in a private forum, but that's for the sake of making the point clear. Anyway, enjoy~~

Hehe, I choose you the Rock'n Rocks theme because of your "Black Cathedral" idea, and the few I could witness of your personality and all.

Oh, and I'll place the smileys later. I'm going to church now. x_x

Well, in this case, I might come up with some samples of other musics I have in stock and present it.
Maybe that will make you find something more suited to you?
But my themes are limited to the game world only...because I'm an instrumental music addict. And mostly, instrumentals from games. There are real masterpieces among the soundtracks of unknown (and also known) games, so that's where I would search first. If you can say more or less what you want, however, I would search accordingly...I guess. o-o

Haha, yours wasn't difficult to decide. If you choose to use a username and an avatar that reflect a certain character, you must really like her, or be quite like her in real life. At least that's my standart reasoning... Hobo
