What I do is get somewhere far away from my very nice everything I have here, then get it to explode, but try not to be killed in doing so.

It'll explode when it gets close to you.
Lure it away, get it's fuse to go off (you'll hear a TSSSSS), then run away to escape the explosion. Worse comes to worse, just keep hitting it til it dies.

It explodes after like, one and a half seconds of being within a block of you, so just hit it and run and wait two seconds and repeat and you'll be okay.

I can't wait until a creeper gets you in the open from behind. It's something everyone should experience.

I was thinking lulzy craters and people being stalked on their way to work and hearing SSSSSSSS would make anybody shit themselves. That's a nice world right there.

THERE WAS TOTALLY A SPIDER JOCKEY OUTSIDE MY HOUSE.

I went to lure it over so I could take a picture of it, but a Skeleton chased me back to my house and by the time I killed it, the Spider Jockey had despawned. I was so pissed.
