Crappy pop music. It was the only thing I heard, so I thought it was good stuff. Course, I had nothing to compare it to. Also,

My sister got me into pop, like Spice Girls and S Club 7 (don't laugh, I was little!)

So when I travel alongside him, like to the town he lives at right now, we hear those all the way. At least now I have an MP4 so I can come listening to musics that don't hurt my ear so much.

To counterbalance, though, my mother liked quality music instead.

Now that I think about it, my grandpa used to be quite a famous singer when he was younger. People travelled miles just to see him perform. Of course he wasn't PROPER famous or anything xD

He didn't have records produced and stuff but people went to places to see him perform ^^ Then suddenly his voice just went and he couldn't sing anymore O_O He sometimes sings along to the Greek radio in the car, he DOES sound a bit off now...
