My parents distrust internet and people on the internet. They make no to little effort to hide it.

I've been going around as a hidden user all day today, btw...XD And its not the first time I've done that. I just didn't really feel like appearing on the users list for whatever reason. I'll probably change that back to normal again tomorrow....
I noticed that...as I noticed BoL was online normally today, not hidden.
Dunno why people do that in such a small forum, but anyway... xD

Well, that is OK. But they should trust their own son to know what he's doing. You're old enough to take care of yourself, I'd say.

It's not as fun with few people. x_x
But it's the best we can do now. xD
Hug, the perfect gift.
And I can support that with this evidence.

Re: Turnabout H.U.G. vr. 3
"A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. A smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business and is the countersign of friendship. It brings rest to the weary, cheer to the discouraged, sunshine to the sad and is nature's best antidote for trouble. Yet it cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until is it given away. Some people are too tired to give a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give."

And yes I typed this out as it came from a quote book I had.

"repeating erroneusly the words of another", could be...
But it doesn't mean the resulting meaning will be better or worse than the originally intended...
Whoever decides this is the quotator, not the quotation, since he defines how the sentences for the quotation are presented. xD

Re: Turnabout H.U.G. vr. 3
The Devil's Dictionary is a book full of definitions that are parodies and political doublespeak, (doublespeak is a style of language that hides the real meaning of words used). It's making fun of words, good way or bad way is up to the reader, I guess.
It's also pretty old, so some definitions are no longer in touch with our world.

Re: Turnabout H.U.G. vr. 3
I know! I have no friends at school, so why can't I just have some online friends? I loved being able to actually talk to her (my friend, that is) but now I can't. Silly parents :taser:Aliucon wrote:Nintendosaiyan wrote:My mum almost found out about me phoning my online friend... She has her number and tried calling it, but my friend had her phone switched off. I said that it's my 'friend at school's mum' and she fell for it so it's all fine now. I could have been banned from the internet O_O
That seems to have been a close call...
What the heck are these mothers doing, barging in their sons private lifes like that? Don't they trust their own flesh? That's horrid! X_x
Damn, they're making our friendly chatter so much more difficult!!
Anyway, those are some really deep quotes I'm trying to think of one, but... I can't -.-
